Graduating Tomorrow!

I'm graduating from high school tomorrow! I'm so excited! I can finally sleep in more often since I plan on taking night classes for college. I also get to see all of my friends one more time tomorrow. I'll miss most of them, but, with things like Facebook, I can stay in touch with them.

Today was a pretty fun day. I went over Becca's house and we watched TV, ate some food, and cuddled on the couch. It was pretty fun. Hopefully she can make it to my graduation ceremony tomorrow.

Sorry For The Long Hiatus

Sorry that I haven't posted since mid-March. I've been busy with finishing up high school and such.

Here are a few more updates:
  • I bought, and am addicted to, Minecraft.
  • I rented a Minecraft server for me and my friends.
  • I'll be graduating from high school on Monday.
  • I ate hibachi grilled food at an Asian restaurant for the first time with Becca, her family, and two of our friends to celebrate her birthday. It was amazing! The chef we had was a pretty funny guy.
That's pretty much some of the things that have happened when I was gone. I'm most likely going to start posting daily again. Some days may include a second post with screenshots of things that my friends and I have made in Minecraft.

I Have A Laptop!

A buddy of mine gave me one of his old laptops. It's not the best, seeing as how it's about 8 years old, but he put Windows 7 Home Premium on it. It's actually not running as bad as I thought it would, although, the battery life is pretty pathetic. At most, it can last about an hour. But it's my first laptop, so I'm not going to complain.

Yesterday wasn't that bad of a day. I had a Spanish quiz that didn't seem very hard. Today, we started doing a project in Spanish where we have to write a story. Psychology is still good, as usual. We have a project where we have to do a psychoanalysis on someone, real or fictional. Any suggestions?

Late Night Post

Sorry for the really late post. I passed out once I got home from school. I was really tired, even though I had only three classes today.

Tomorrow goes back to the normal schedule. Oh joy. It's not so bad though. I can finally chill during 7th and 8th in my web design teacher's room like I usually do.

A Relaxed Day

Today was a pretty relaxed day with my girlfriend. She came over today and we spent half of the time cuddling. We also watched some Robot Chicken on my iPhone through the Adult Swim app.

Tomorrow is going to be the last CAPT day, since I had no school last Monday. One more day of sleeping in, as well as having some of my best classes for about two hours. I'm excited.

Again, Sorry For The Lack Of Posting

Hey everyone. Sorry that I didn't get to post much this week. It was just pretty hectic and I was really busy. I'm also feeling a lot better since last week. Now that it's over, though, I will be going on with my daily posts, starting tomorrow.

Sorry I Haven't Been Updating Daily

Hey everyone. I just wanna say that I'm sorry I haven't updated daily. I've just been under a lot of anxiety (or what I believe is anxiety) since Sunday night. I'm probably going to tell my parents about it soon and hopefully see if things will get better.

Anyways, yesterday wasn't too bad. Just had Spanish, Pre Calc, and Ceramics yesterday.

Today was a lazy day for me. I had nothing for the first two periods, then I had Video 1 for my last period. We only have 3 periods per day during CAPT week.

No School

Apparently, there's no school today because parts of my town are flooded from all the rain yesterday. Oh well. It gives me time to work on my homework, as well as format my hard drive.

Also, sorry for not posting yesterday. I was tired when I got home from my girlfriend's house. I had a great time. She made me some food for our six month and we just cuddled a lot.

Happy Six Months

Today marks the sixth month that I've been with my girlfriend. It's pretty exciting to know that we've made it this far.

I didn't get to see her today, though. However, I'll be going over tomorrow. We plan to make a nice meal for us to enjoy, then watch a movie. Any suggestions on quick and easy meals that don't require many ingredients? As well as movie suggestions? We plan to watch something on Netflix.

Tomorrow

Tomorrow is going to be an awesome day. Why? Because tomorrow marks the 6th month that I've been with my girlfriend, Becca. I'm so happy, and so is she. This is the longest that I've been with someone and I couldn't be any happier.

At the moment, I'm currently trying to set up Windows XP MCE inside of a virtual machine. It should be fun and I'll be able to experiment with the items that it comes with, compared to XP Professional. I'm also thinking about installing it after I reformat my hard drive.

Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo

The Crysis 2 Multiplayer Demo finished downloading to my Xbox a while ago. I haven't played it yet, but I plan to, later tonight. I hope it's as good as it looks. Let me know if you guys have played it and if you have any tips.

Also, I plan to start backing up my computer today. I don't know how long it's going to take, but I do know that I have a lot of files to backup. I hope everything goes smoothly.

I also finished taking a personality test today in Psychology. The Keirsey Temperament Sorter. Turns out that I'm an ISFP. I read the description of what an ISFP is and it was spot on. I was blown away.

Finally, I just can't wait until tomorrow. It's a Friday and I just love Fridays in general.

Backup Drive Obtained

At least for now. My teacher is letting me borrow a 250GB Glyph external hard drive to back up my computer with. She said that it's one of the best external hard drives ever. I plan to reformat my computer soon since I've been having a few problems with it. Plus, I have too much junk on my computer and I really need to organize it once I go through with this.

In other news, today was yet another average day. Although, I do plan to sign up for outdoor track tomorrow. It'll be nice to do at least ONE sport in my whole high school career before I graduate. Also, I get to run with friends. I already know a few friends who've signed up.

Pretzel Sticks

Today was just another average day. The test I took in Spanish wasn't very hard. I managed to do most of it, so I think I'll get a decent grade on it. I'm also excited for CAPT week next week, because I get to sleep in for a long time. Freshmen, juniors, and seniors get four hour delays all next week because of the sophomores taking CAPT.

I also had some pretzel sticks eighth period, today. They were pretty damn delicious. They made me a bit thirsty, but they're salty, so what do you expect?

Back To School

It was a little challenging to readjust to school since I had a vacation last week, but it wasn't too tough. I ended up having a two hour delay, probably from the roads being icy from the rain overnight. It was still raining for most of the morning, and there was also a lightning strike this morning, too. My school was leaking water near one of the entrances. Buckets covered about half of the hallway near that entrance and people were just laughing about it. I should have taken a picture to post here, but I forgot to.

I also have a Spanish test tomorrow, but I'm not too worried about it. It's on a story we read before vacation, but the story was very short and easy to understand. Wish me luck, guys.

Lazy Day With My Girlfriend

Today wasn't any lazy day, no. Today was a lazy day with my girlfriend. We just sat around, on my bed, cuddling and such. It was pretty fun. Then we drove around my town with my parents and we looked at houses for sale. Potential houses that my oldest brother might buy. He and his fiancee want to buy a house in my town, and they're going to start looking tomorrow.

I'm not really looking forward to tomorrow that much since I have to go back to school. Oh well. I have to do what I have to do.

26 Rounds of Zombies

I survived 26 rounds of Zombies, on Kino der Toten, by myself. It was pretty awesome. I had an upgraded Galil and Commando, with all of the perks, except Quick Revive since I used it all up.

On another note, my girlfriend is coming over tomorrow. We're probably just going to cuddle on my bed and watch movies on Netflix, or play some Rock Band. If I had a second controller, we'd be playing Zombies, too.

I'm excited to see her every week. Something new always happens.

Friday, February 25, 2011

Very Lazy Day

Today was a very lazy day. I spent my whole morning, in bed, playing games on my iPhone. Then I spent most of my afternoon, texting my girlfriend and watching TV on the couch. G4 is a pretty awesome channel. Later today, I'm most likely going to play some Black Ops or Rock Band, whatever I feel like at the time.

Hopefully, I'll be able to see my girlfriend either tomorrow or Sunday, depending on the weather. There's supposed to be snow on Sunday, so who knows? The weather today was just rainy and gloomy. All day. Stupid weather. At least tomorrow is supposed to be nice.

Thursday, February 24, 2011

A Good Day

Today was a good day. My friends and I didn't look for apartments, but we did just chill and hang out. We got some pizza and watched one of the worst movies ever: The Room. However, that movie is so bad, it's funny.

I also helped them out with their psychology project by being their cameraman. They went around my town, asking people questions about psychology, and I had to record it. It was a fun time. We got a few people to participate, and it was nice.

I'm probably going to do nothing tomorrow, though. There's supposed to be some sort of storm tomorrow or something. Oh well. I'll just play some Rock Band or something.

Plans Shot Down For Today

My plans to have my girlfriend come over were shot down today. At first, she was able to come over, she had a ride, and my mom gave the OK that she can come, but there were some last minute family issues, on my side, that came up. It's nothing too bad, but it had enough of an impact to where my girlfriend couldn't come over. She can't come over tomorrow, either, because it's her dad's birthday tomorrow. She also can't on Friday because she doesn't have a ride. Oh well, at least I'll be able to see Becca on Sunday.

On a brighter note, I'm still going to be able to look at some apartments with my friends tomorrow, so all my plans weren't completely shot down. However, I should try and make plans with someone on Friday. Maybe I can try to go to the mall with my buddy, Brandon. Or, at least, go over his house.

Tuesday, February 22, 2011

Tomorrow Is When The Fun Begins

Today was just another day of nothing, except food, TV, and video games. However, tomorrow is when my vacation kicks in. My girlfriend is most likely going to come over tomorrow, which should be fun. On Thursday, my friends and I are going to look for apartments, and on Friday, I'm going to try and go over my girlfriend's house.

I'm excited for the next three days.

Monday, February 21, 2011

The Snow Returns

After a while of no snow, the snow decides to return. Fortunately, I have vacation, so it didn't really affect me. Also, the snow wasn't very effective as it usually was a few weeks ago. I only got about 1 to 3 inches here, so it wasn't too much.

My day today was also a lazy day. It was just a day spent laying in bed, as well as playing my Xbox. I predict that tomorrow will be the same way. Most of my plans for this week are going to happen on Wednesday and beyond. Maybe I should record some game footage tomorrow with the capture card I'm borrowing.

Sunday, February 20, 2011

A Fun Day

Today was a pretty fun day. I went over my girlfriend's house today and I hung out with her and two of her friends. I already knew one of them, and I never met the other one until today. We had a blast playing Black Ops and eating mac and cheese. She and I also exchanged late Valentines Day gifts since we didn't get to see each other on the 14th.

I also just got an app on my iPhone called BlogPress, so I can start posting stuff from my iPhone. Yay!

Finally, guess what kind of weather is back. You guessed it. Snow! At least I have vacation this week, so there's no need to wake up early to see if there's any cancelations.

Quick Little Game Review: Rock Band 3

I usually don't do video game reviews, or any sort of review, but this was requested by Leviuqse.

Product image from Amazon.

Product description (from Amazon):
Rock Band 3 is the third main release in the iconic video game series that challenges gamers to live out their Rock & Roll fantasies together in a band situation, both locally and online. The game features an ever expanding song list from every era of Rock & Roll history, easy to pick up yet challenging addictive Note Highway gameplay, compatibility with earlier releases in the series and all platform-specific instrument controllers including most Guitar Hero controllers, extreme in-game character and band customization, and a slew of new features. These new features include: new setlist search functionality, the addition of 3-part harmonies and a keyboard peripheral and expanded play modes, including the advanced Pro Mode.

My review:
In my opinion, Rock Band 3 is great. I like the fact that all the songs are already unlocked, as well as the fact that it's just ready to play and that you can switch players in and out at any time. That feature makes it perfect for parties. I own the Rock Band 3 Keyboard Bundle and the keyboard is great. Very realistic and responsive. The only thing I don't like is that there aren't a lot of songs for the keyboard, but it's a new instrument in the Rock Band series. I've also tried out Pro Keys and it's pretty challenging.

Overall, I give Rock Band 3 an 8/10 and it was worth the money I paid for it.

Buy now on Amazon.

Plans for the Weekend

My plans for this weekend consist of Black Ops, Rock Band 3, and seeing my girlfriend.

Today is going to be the "Black Ops and Rock Band 3" part of my weekend plans. I feel like playing some songs in Rock Band, as well as playing some Zombies with friends later. Maybe a few wager matches.

Tomorrow, I'm going over my girlfriend's house. We're pretty much going to spend all day cuddling and watching movies on Netflix. As well as making some food.

That's pretty much my weekend for this week.

Vactaion Has Officially Begun

My vacation has officially started once I got home today. Now, I can relax and oversleep for a full week. I currently don't have any solid plans of what I'm going to do, but I already know two things that I will be doing next week.

1. Seeing my girlfriend. That one was a given. She has vacation during this time, too, so I'll be able to see her a lot this week, which makes us both happy.

2. Hanging out with some friends. That one was also a given. However, what I'm going to be doing with my friends isn't just hang out, we're also going to look at some apartments. Why? Because some of us are going to be going to the same college after high school, and we all thought it would be a great idea to get an apartment to stay in and split the rent.

So, those are the two things that I will be doing next week, I just don't know when.

One More Day Left

One more day left before I start my vacation next week. So excited. I already have some things planned out for next week.

As for today, I learned quite a lot in Psychology, mainly a lot of things that relate to Sigmund Freud and things about the id, ego, and superego. Really interesting stuff, especially when we learned about the stages we go through and how we can become fixated with them.

Not much else happened today. Oh well. More things will happen tomorrow, as well as next week.

Smoothies and Other Things

I had a smoothie today in school. It was a banana smoothie and it was so delicious. It pretty much made my day. That, and a little test in psychology. I found out that I'm a very musical and artistic person. I guess it's true, because I do love music and I love experimenting with it. And I guess it also explains why I love my girlfriend so much, since she's an artist. Her paintings are fantastic.

Onto other things, I'm currently borrowing a capture card from my Video 1 teacher so I can record some stuff from the Xbox, like Black Ops games, as well as some Rock Band videos. Only problem is that I don't have lots of space on my hard drive. Oh well.

Tuesday, February 15, 2011

Average Day

Today was a pretty average day. Nothing big really happened, except for when I helped my Web Design teacher figure out something. And the fact that I'm going to get a smoothie tomorrow is nice, too.

I also had a Spanish vocab quiz today. I have a good feeling about it. Also, my teacher is going to drop a recent test grade, which would be the test that I talked about in this post. This is a very good thing because now I know that my Spanish grade isn't going to be down in the dumps.

Also, I've decided to post some pictures from my adventure on Sunday.

My girlfriend's sister on the left, and my girlfriend and I on the right.

Finger puppets on the soda straws at Friendly's.

Zombie finger puppet and a small baby floating on an ice cube.

A whale statue in Mystic.

All of these picture's where taken on Alex's iPhone.

Happy Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day everyone! I hope all of the couples got a chance to see each other, or are going to see each other. I don't know if I'll be able to see my girlfriend, but at least yesterday could count, right?

Anyways, my day today was pretty average. Psychology and Creative writing are still fun, as usual, and my teacher got my screenplay that I sent him last night. Spanish was pretty good, as well as Pre Calc. Later in the day, I went to record a song cover for my girlfriend and burned it onto a mini CD. Hopefully, I can see her for a bit today so I can give it to her.

A Fantastic Day

Today was a fantastic day. I spent it with my girlfriend, her sister, and our friend Alex. It was just awesome.

The car ride there was pretty fun, even though we basically just listened to music. Then we arrived at Mystic, where we shopped around for a bit, making jokes and taking pictures. After, we shopped around in Old Mystic. That was basically the main part of the day. I didn't really buy anything.

The fun part was when we were at Friendly's. I had a blast there and we all laughed so much during the events that happened.

I really wish it didn't have to end, but we all had to get home. Oh well.

That was basically my day today.

It's Sunday

Another morning post. What are my plans for today? In about an hour, I'm going to be leaving to go to Mystic and spend the day there with my girlfriend. I'm so excited! Then, when I get home, I'm most likely going to eat some dinner, then play some Black Ops.

I will make another post later telling you all about what I did at Mystic.

Saturday, February 12, 2011

Good Morning, Saturday

I've got nothing to do today. Maybe I should go work on that Creative Writing project so I can email it to my teacher. Then I'll probably go on my Xbox and play some Black Ops. That's pretty much my day right there for today.

Tomorrow, though, I'm going over my girlfriend's house. I can't wait. I enjoy seeing her every chance I get.

Friday, February 11, 2011

I Love Fridays

Today was an excellent day. I didn't get to hand in the part of my screenplay to my Creative Writing teacher today, but he said I could email it to him over the weekend. However, procrastination still plagues me. In Psychology, I saw a video of some guy that had about 50 personalities. Pretty interesting.

As usual, I don't really have any plans for tonight. I should really start going over my girlfriend's or something rather than sitting home, playing Zombies on Black Ops with my friends.

Thursday, February 10, 2011

Procrastination Sucks

Procrastination sucks. It really does. I'm supposed to do a portfolio piece for Creative writing that's due tomorrow. Good thing is I can work weekly on one thing and even have it counted as my final project for a grade for the final. What am I working on? A screenplay called Time Stopper. Hopefully I can actually achieve the goal of doing a whole, complete screenplay by the end of the year.

Wish me luck, guys.

Another Day In School

School wasn't too bad today. As usual, I had fun in Psychology and Creative writing, and what made the day even better was that my Pre Calc teacher wasn't there today. And the worksheets she left us were really easy. My friend and I finished them in less than 10 minutes. Then we headed down to the room of our Web Design teacher and just chilled in there for the rest of the day, since he and I have early dismissal after Pre Calc.

On a less optimistic side, there's supposed to be a meeting tomorrow about whether or not the district is going to cancel our February vacation. I do know that I've missed about 12 days of school, but still. I was planning on seeing my girlfriend during the vacation since I only see her once a week. She lives in a nearby town. Oh well. I guess now my early dismissal will finally come in handy.

Tuesday, February 8, 2011

A Wintery Mix

I ended up having a full day of school when there should've been a delay. The roads were slushy when I was walking and my feet were cold and wet. On top of it, I most likely failed a Spanish test because of how much Spanish 5 confuses me. At least Psychology and Creative Writing put me in a better mood. As well as my girlfriend.

There also appears to be a wintery mix happening now, while I'm in school. I (hopefully) predict at least a delay tomorrow.

Monday, February 7, 2011

Snow, snow, and more snow.

That's all we're getting up here in New England. Fortunately, the snow seems to be dying down a bit. However, it's supposed to snow AGAIN tomorrow. Oh well. Another free day tomorrow.

As for my weekend, it was nice. I already explained what I did on Saturday, although I forgot to do a post yesterday about my day. It was awesome. I saw my girlfriend and we made some food together, sat down on the couch, and cuddled while watching some TV.

As for today, it was just another day of school, except I had a two hour delay, so I got some extra sleep in. Gotta love delays, eh? Also, I'm loving my teachers for Psychology and Creative Writing. They're both pretty funny and I look forward to having class with them everyday.

That's all for now. I'll keep you guys updated with a post tomorrow, and pretty much every other day.

Saturday, February 5, 2011

A New Day

So far, today is a pretty good day. I woke up this morning to find that my back isn't in as much pain as it was in since Tuesday night, after shoveling some snow. I expect the pain to be gone by tomorrow, or most of it, since I'm seeing my girlfriend tomorrow.

Also, I was messing around with people on Call of Duty Black Ops with my friends. We were playing wager matches of One in the Chamber and we would all camp out somewhere, wait until most of the people are dead, then waste the rest of the time in the match, as well as moving ourselves up so the other players would be out of the money. Many laughs were had.

So, that was basically my day so far, and I hope tomorrow's an even better one since I'm seeing my girlfriend.
